David brings over nineteen years of experience in pastoral ministry to Building Healthy
Churches.  He has served in rural, small town, and urban congregations, bivocationally
as well as full-time.   In addition to his pastoral experience David has worked several
years in university and healthcare administration. Presently he serves as pastor of First
Baptist Church of Harrisonville, MO, chaplain for the Harrisonville Police Department,
president of the Harrisonville Ministerial Alliance, and board member for Life Choice
Center for Women, Harrisonville.

Having experienced the destructive power of church conflict, David has a passion for
equipping church leaders to guide their congregations through conflict using biblical
principles of spiritual leadership.  As one conference organizer observed recently, "The
pastors and church leaders who attended David Noble's workshop on conflict
resolution are still talking about what they learned - a year later!  I have organized
monthly interdenominational meetings for several years, and Dr. Noble's workshop
stands out as one of the most helpful and practical ones that we've offered."

David and his wife Diane recently co-authored the discipleship workbook,
"Winning the
Real Battle at Church:  What Holds Your Church Together During Troubled Times"
(2008, BHC Publishing).

David’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from Truman State
University (Kirksville, MO), a Master of Science degree from the University of North Texas
(Denton, TX), a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary
(Princeton, NJ), and the Doctor of Ministry degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological
Seminary (Kansas City, MO).

David is the senior consultant for Building Healthy Churches and serves as a workshop
leader and consultant in the areas of biblical conflict resolution and church health.
